Always be wary of any investment opportunities that promises high returns with minimal risks. If it seems too good to be true, it is probably a scam.

Modus Operandi
  • Scammers advertises their cryptocurrency trading on social media offering unbelievable profits with minimal risks.
  • Interested customers will be directed to a fake website once they click on the link in the advertisement.
  • Customers are then required to make multiple payments in order to invest.
  • Once the procedure is complete, scammers will make excuses for delays in withdrawals.
  • Customers will suddenly find out that they have been barred from the trading platform or the trading platform is now closed.
  • Customers will not be able to contact the scammers and their invested money will never be returned.
How to avoid?
  • Only deal with reputable and licensed financial organizations before you commit to an investment.
  • Be careful of all unexpected calls, emails, and test messages advertising cryptocurrency investments.
  • Do not trust people who promises high profit returns by investing in cryptocurrency.
  • Take your time to research an investment thoroughly before committing fully.
  • Never  reveal your personal and online banking details to anyone.
  • Avoid clicking on links sent to you by an unknown third party.
